The Official grand opening took place on
Saturday October 6, at 7.00pm. 
The highlight of the opening 
night was an exhibition match 
by seven-time world champion 
Stephen Hendry, who played
10 lucky players whose names were
drawn out of a hat on the night.

Michael White has just started his 
first year as a professional snooker 
player at just 16 years-old. 
He has played two 
qualifiers this season and starting 
off with a 4-0 win over England's 
Tom Ford in the Masters qualifier. 
Before losing to the winner of the 
qualifier Barry Hawkins 5-2.
His next match was up in North 
Wales at Pontins to play in the 
Royal London Watches Grand Prix, 
which was a round robin format. 
He lost his opening match 
to fellow countryman 
Gareth Coppack 4-1,but did 
eventually get a win over Malta's 
Tony Drago.

Whitez Hosted Welsh under 16's event

Whitez hosted the first Welsh 
Under 16's ranking event 1 
on Sunday 4th November. 
Entry to watch the tournament 
was free giving customers a chance 
to see some top quality snooker 
from Wales most promising juniors.
